GLL is looking for an experienced Fitness Manager based at Herne Hill Lifestyle Centre. As a Fitness Manager you will be passionate about the fitness and leisure industry. A Fitness Manager’s role is highly varied, you could be doing anything from unlocking the gym and setting up, to ordering supplies and checking everything is perfect for your customers. Then, once the day is in full swing, Fitness Manager’s ensure it’s all running as it should be – handling customer queries, managing your team and ensuring the successful operation of the gym and other facilities. Your own development is just as important, as we’ll train you to sharpen your skills in this diverse Fitness Manager role.

What you need:
- A can-do attitude
- A real focus on customer service.
- Minimum of Level 2 Fitness Instructor, Group Exercise/Fitness Class Instructor qualification
- Experience along of delivering on membership sales and retention targets
- Experience of successful promotion and outreach, including use of social media
- Experience in managerial or supervisory role in a busy leisure / health and fitness centre.

What you’ll do:
- Supervise the Fitness Instructor team
- Supervising and cleaning various centre areas
- Setting up equipment
- Deliver first-class customer service
- Deal with customer queries
- Key support to your team on a daily basis from preparing Studios and Gyms for various activities to the general cleaning and upkeep of the centre.
