An exciting role that doesn’t come around too often! We are looking to recruit a number of freelance roles around the UK to support us with new Innerva installations.
As an Innerva Trainer you will be responsible for training staff members at centres around the safe and effective use of Innerva equipment, in addition to supporting the team understand how to engage, interact and build a successful community within their suite.
The role will be supplementary to your existing job and training days will be ad hoc and based around both the site requirement and your availability. You might choose to take annual leave from your existing role to deliver the training.

We’re looking for regional Innerva Trainers who can bring their passion, energy, and enthusiasm to deliver Innerva equipment training, ensuring all in attendance leave with a strong understanding of the operation of each piece of Innerva equipment.
Successful applicants will be experienced, dedicated and passionate about the impact Innerva equipment can have on older adults, those with long term conditions and of course those intimidated by a traditional exercise environment.
Trainers will have the skills and confidence to coach, develop and inspire a large, diverse group of people – from health and wellbeing coaches and referral teams to receptionists, duty managers and in some cases centre managers.
You will be passionate about building communities of older exercisers and happy to share your learnings and best practice of what you have achieved in your own setting with those in attendance at training sessions.
You will also be confident in delivering training and workshops in a classroom and/or Innerva suite environment, be highly organised and manage your time effectively.
Essential Criteria
- Must have experience of working in a customer facing environment e.g. Leisure
- Friendly, outgoing/confident personality
- Must hold the one of the following qualifications or equivalent: Level 2 Certificate in Gym Instruction; Level 2 Certificate/Diploma in Personal Training
- Full driving licence and use of own vehicle.
Desirable Criteria
- Have experience of working with Innerva PAE equipment and operating an Innerva suite.
- Have strong occupational competency within Fitness/Health/Wellbeing delivery.
- Level 3 Certificate in Gym Instruction or Level 3 Certificate/Diploma in Personal Training
- Experience of training team members or presenting to groups of people
Key Responsibilities & Skills
- Deliver half day / full day training sessions to Innerva customers teams (operators)
- Provide a full understanding of the operation of each piece of Innerva equipment (please note full training will be given once you have been appointed as an Innerva Trainer)
- Provide attendees with a full understanding of how to induct and onboard new customers within an Innerva suite
- Provide insight into best practice around working with older adults and people with long term conditions (utilising Innerva resources such as the Training Manual and Best Practice Guide where applicable)
- Be confident using IT and Microsoft packages such as Powerpoint and Word for the delivery of training sessions
- You will be well organised and somewhat flexible in terms of being able to book holiday to deliver training (it is likely most training sessions will take place on a weekday)
