The Armed Forces Reserves are looking for Strength and Conditioning Trainers to work as a Physical Training Instructor. Whether you’re a newly qualified Personal Trainer, or looking to change role, this is your chance to make a difference to the health and wellbeing of members of the Armed Forces. With the ability to work alongside your existing schedule, you can boost your income and gain expertise though the opportunity this role offers.

If you are disciplined, confident and willing to work hard, you’ll thrive in this role. From organising sporting events to mentoring unit Reserve Physical Training Instructors, there’ll be no such thing as a ’typical’ day, so a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail and well-developed motivational skills will be essential. As the role can be physically demanding, you’ll also need a high level of fitness.

As a Level 3 qualified Personal Trainer, you’ll have experience forging strong interpersonal relationships and building systems to improve the conditioning of teams - this role offers the potential to use those skills on a larger scale, whilst working flexibly; a minimum of 29 days per annum up to a maximum of 207. 

Available RAPTC Reserve jobs are situated in: Exeter, Bristol, Plymouth, Newcastle, Gateshead, Northampton, Redditch, Hackney, Bexleyheath, Grove Park, Croydon, Canterbury, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leuchars, Cardiff, Newport, Monmouth and Lisburn.

Approximately £90 per day.
