The Armed Forces Reserves are looking for Gym Instructors to work as a Physical Training Instructor. Whether you’re a newly qualified Gym Instructor, or looking to change role, this is your chance to make a difference to the health and wellbeing of members of the Armed Forces. With the ability to work alongside your existing schedule, you can boost your income and gain expertise though the opportunity this role offers.

If you are disciplined, confident and willing to work hard, you’ll thrive in this role. From organising sporting events to mentoring unit Reserve Physical Training Instructors, there’ll be no such thing as a ’typical’ day, so a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail and well-developed leadership skills will be essential. As the role can be physically demanding, you’ll also need a high level of fitness.

As a Gym Instructor you’ll be used motivating and organising a team - this role offers the potential to use those skills on a much larger scale, whilst working flexibly; a minimum of 29 days per annum up to a maximum of 207. 

Available RAPTC Reserve jobs are situated in: Exeter, Bristol, Plymouth, Newcastle, Gateshead, Northampton, Redditch, Hackney, Bexleyheath, Grove Park, Croydon, Canterbury, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leuchars, Cardiff, Newport, Monmouth and Lisburn.

Approximately £90 per day.
