Wellbeing Personal Trainer
Chelmsford Fitness and Wellbeing Gym | Permanent | Part-Time
From £22,776 to £55,224 per annum OTE
- Are you an established Level 3 or above Personal Trainer?
- Are you passionate about fitness training, and consider yourself as a specialist in exercise?
- Do you have experience of building and managing a client base?
- Do you have a background of delivering 10 or more paid 121 or small group PT sessions per week?
If the answer to the above is yes, please read on for more information about how being a Nuffield Health Personal Trainer can provide the right environment to build a real career.
You will be contracted to work weekly gym floor hrs (32hours per week initially), for a base salary, plus after 8-12 weeks you’ll expected to be delivering a minimum of 8 PT session each week. During these gym floor hrs you are encouraged and supported to generate your own PT client base, and deliver PT sessions outside of your weekly gym floor hours. As your weekly PT delivery grows, you will reduce your contracted gym floor hours accordingly (reducing base salary pro-rata), down to a level which provides you with the right balance. As an example this might end up being 8hrs gym floor and 32hrs PT per week, or it might be 28hrs gym floor and 12hrs PT per week, or anything in between.
You can build up to deliver as many PT sessions as you wish, and our tiered PT pay scale rewards you more as your delivery grows.
As standard, your gym floor working pattern, can include weekends, bank holidays, early and late shifts, as you will be part of a team rota. However, your PT diary will be yours to manage. Plus, we’ll give you paid holiday and you won’t have to pay a fee to train clients at our facilities.
We will guide and support you to quickly refine your professional PT product and promote yourself effectively. You will work within a highly experienced and supportive team of trainers and managers, and you will be expected to be pro-active and innovative when it comes to getting known and promoting yourself as a PT, so having a few ideas to discuss with the team is a real benefit.
You will be a vital part of the Nuffield Health team, and for many gym users, you will be the face of the club! Whilst on-shift, you will be available for members and guests, delivering our fitness services. You will be expected to approach any on-shift activity as an opportunity to interact with our members and deliver great, friendly service… this also happens to provide a great foundation on which to build relationships and trigger conversations about how you can help members through your unique PT offering.
Salary is based on 40 hours a week, made up of 32 hours gym floor with 8 hours of PT sessions (£23,674), as you increase your PT sessions you reduce your gym floor hours, up to 8 hours gym floor with 32 hours of PT sessions (£45,386)
